Monthly Retainer Terms
Client agrees to engage Producer on a recurring monthly retainer basis. The recurring monthly fee covers a dedicated allocation of podcast production management services detailed below. Payment is due in advance on the first (1st) day of each billing cycle via automated payment link. Production services, including audio editing, guest management, and publishing, will not commence until payment is confirmed.
Included Services
The monthly retainer covers the following core podcast production deliverables per billing cycle:
- Production management and editing for up to four (4) main episodes (up to 60 minutes of raw audio per episode).
- Audio cleanup, noise reduction, mixing, mastering, and ID3 tagging.
- Drafting episode show notes, key takeaways, and basic SEO descriptions.
- Scheduling and publishing audio files and graphics to the podcast hosting platform.
- Up to two (2) rounds of minor audio revisions per episode within the review window.
Payment Due Date & Late Terms
Retainer payments are processed automatically on the 1st of each month. If payment fails or is not received by the 3rd of the month, production work is immediately paused. Release dates for upcoming episodes will be rescheduled based on Producer availability once payment clears. No refunds or partial discounts are provided for production delays caused by unpaid retainer invoices.
Approval Workflow & Sign-Offs
Producer will submit edited episode drafts to Client for review via the MicroFreelanceHub approval portal. Client must provide written approval or consolidated revision requests within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. If Client fails to respond within forty-eight (48) hours, the episode is deemed fully approved, and Producer is authorized to schedule the episode for release.
Unused Time & Expiration
The monthly retainer guarantees Producer studio bandwidth and production availability. Included episode quotas and management hours must be utilized within the active billing cycle. Unused episodes or hours do not roll over to subsequent months and are non-refundable.
Additional Work & Rush Fees
Services outside the scope of this agreement—such as producing extra episodes, re-editing raw audio due to client recording errors, or managing emergency guest bookings—will be billed separately. Raw audio assets provided to Producer less than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled publish date are subject to a 50% rush surcharge, payable prior to audio release.
Cancellation & Pause Policy
Either party may terminate or pause this agreement by providing a thirty (30) day written notice via MicroFreelanceHub. Final payments due during the 30-day notice period must be paid in full, and Producer will deliver all completed assets corresponding to paid billing cycles.
