Project Deposit

The Client agrees to pay an initial deposit of 50% of the total project quote (the 'Deposit') to secure the installation schedule and authorize the purchasing of materials. Work will not be scheduled, and materials will not be ordered from distributors, until this Deposit is received in cleared funds and this Agreement is executed by both parties.

What the Deposit Covers

The Deposit directly funds the procurement of custom or semi-custom materials required for the project, including but not limited to: garage door panels, track configurations, torsion or extension springs, weather stripping, track hardware, and opener systems. Additionally, the Deposit reserves the assigned crew, service truck, and installation date, protecting the Contractor against lost labor capacity.

Refund Conditions

Once materials are ordered from the manufacturer or distributor, the portion of the Deposit allocated to materials becomes completely non-refundable. If the Client cancels this Agreement prior to material ordering, the Deposit may be refunded minus a $150 administrative and processing fee. In the event of a cancellation within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled installation date, a $200 crew scheduling fee will be deducted from any eligible refund.

Start Date Authorization

By signing this agreement and submitting payment, the Client authorizes the Contractor to initiate material orders immediately. The targeted installation date is tentative and subject to manufacturer supply chain lead times. The Contractor will provide updates on shipment arrivals and confirm the final installation window once materials are received in the local warehouse.

Materials Purchasing

All materials are ordered according to the specifications, dimensions, and colors chosen by the Client and detailed in the project quote. Any changes requested by the Client after the Deposit is paid and materials are ordered will incur additional charges, including supplier change fees and shipping costs, which must be paid before installation begins.

Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for ensuring that the garage opening is framed to the agreed-upon dimensions, the floor is level, and the work area is clear of vehicles, storage, and debris prior to the crew's arrival. The Client must also ensure a functional 110V electrical outlet is accessible within the garage if an opener installation is included. Failure to prepare the site to these specifications may result in rescheduling and a $150 mobilization fee.
