This agreement ensures that all custom cabinetry is manufactured according to the final shop drawings and material samples approved by the client; any modifications requested after fabrication has commenced will be documented as a Change Order and will incur additional labor and material fees. The client acknowledges that wood is a natural product with inherent variations in color and grain, and the Cabinet Maker is not liable for these natural characteristics or for warping caused by improper climate control at the installation site.
To ensure a professional finish, the installation site must be clear of other trades and the environment must be climate-controlled; the Cabinet Maker is not responsible for structural defects in the property, such as out-of-plumb walls or unlevel floors, and any extra labor required to accommodate these conditions will be billed at an hourly rate. Ownership of all custom-built goods remains with the Cabinet Maker until the final balance is paid in full, and a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure materials and scheduling.
