Overview

This agreement defines the professional standards and legal protections for the Mold Remediation Expert during the abatement process. The Client acknowledges that mold is a biohazard resulting from excess moisture, and the Expert’s responsibility is limited to the physical removal and treatment of identified areas using industry-standard protocols such as the IICRC S520. The Expert shall not be held liable for any pre-existing health conditions of occupants or for structural damages that occurred prior to the commencement of work, nor for any damage resulting from the failure of the Client to address the root cause of moisture intrusion.

During the remediation period, the Client agrees to maintain the integrity of all containment barriers and understands that unauthorized entry into the work zone may result in cross-contamination for which the Expert is not responsible. Payment is due upon delivery of the post-remediation verification report, and any additional structural repairs or build-back services following the removal of contaminated materials are considered outside the scope of this contract unless explicitly added via written amendment. The Expert’s total liability for any claims arising from this service is limited to the total amount paid by the Client under this agreement.
